An Excellent Transformer
|
| Review Date: June 30, 2009 |
| Reviewer: C. Sullivan, Clinton, Mass |
While the price tag may be a bit steep for this figure <$35 in the store>, the figure itself is great. Bumblebee is extremely posable well detailed, and the paint application, at least on mine, was spot on.
Sam leaves a bit to be desired, I think he's slightly out of proportion for Bumblebee, but lets face it, no one is going to pick this up because they want a Shia LeBouef action figure.
If I had one complaint at all, its that Bumblebee's right hand isnt actually a hand, but a missile launcher. While that's all well and good, I personally would have preferred a snap on weapon, and two workable hands instead of just the one. Other than that, this figure is pure amazing.
Well done Hasbro. |

| Reviewer: Anne, |
| We decided on this Bumblebee because our son asked Santa for a Bumblebee with a laser, and the other model with a laser does not transform. This reads 13 inches on the longest specs....which would be hight, right? Well, ours is by no means 13 inches tall...maybe 8. They must be measuring the box or something. There is no laser "pulse" , it is a gun that fires a little plastic launcher that will be lost under the sofa in 10 minutes. The size and description of a laser pulse lead me to buy the wrong product and now I am off to Target to get the right one. Other than the wrong size specs and description of the weapon action...it appears to be a good toy for an older child. |

Product Description |
| With the Hasbro Transformers Cyber Stompin' Bumblebee Action Figure, kids can help rescue Earth from the clutches of the evil Decepticons. Based on the character Bumblebee from the summer 2007 blockbuster hit movie, "Transformers," this action figure has battle sounds and features galore. Recommended for ages 4 and up, Cyber Stompin' Bumblebee will let kids relive all of the movie's best scenes. Fearsome Sound Effects Cyber Stompin' Bumblebee totally immerses your child in the action by recreating sounds straight from the movie. His main feature is his fearsome stomping action -- every step he takes produces electronic crashing sounds. The sounds are so convincing that kids will think they're standing right next to a massive Transformer as he crushes everything in sight. He also makes a number of other sounds, which can be triggered at the touch of a button. Battle sounds and speech clips recorded straight from the movie make it all the easier to imitate favorite scenes. Sleek Design Perfect for kids and collectors alike, Cyber Stompin' Bumblebee features a sleek, movie-accurate design. Unlike other Transformer figures, this figure does not convert into vehicle mode, but instead stays in its powerful robot mode. With launching robot fists and punching action, he can make quick work of any Decepticon. His many points of articulation make it possible for kids to adjust him into any pose they like. In addition, Bumblebee's eyes and chest light up for a cool mechanical glowing effect. About Transformers The Transformers began as a Hasbro toy line back in 1983, featuring toy vehicles that could transform into robots. The toys soon inspired an entire universe of fictional story lines, pitting the two factions of Transformers -- the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons -- against one another. A live-action movie based on the Transformers was released in 2007 and has continued the toy line's extreme popularity. With action figures such as Cyber Stompin' Bumblebee, kids can bring home the struggle between the Autobots and Decepticons. |

Cyber Stompin Bumblebee - My son LOVES this!
|
| Review Date: October 5, 2007 |
| Reviewer: Anna Chappell, Ridgefield, WA USA |
| My 8 year old wanted this from the second he saw it- it did not matter that it did not transform. So for his birthday, he got this and it's partner Cyberstompin Optimus Prime- he has had a ball with them. Educational value? These toys are for fun not really learning. Kind of noisy, but boys love noisy toys!So far it has been pretty durable not at all unhappy with this purchase. Would definately buy it again. |
Very Happy Nephew

I had this product mailed to my Nephew, and what a happy boy. He says that this is the best toy ever. He is 8 years old and he has not destroyed the toy. It is very durable. It looks like it is very well made. Very happy with my purchase. Amazon made this very easy.
Thank you

| Eager and friendly, BUMBLEBEE nevertheless developed a solitary nature after the injury that left him mostly mute. It is a welcome surprise to discover on meeting Sam that he can actually communicate with humans through their music. Of course, now that he's made friends on Earth, he's got to fight to keep them alive long enough to actually enjoy the friendship. If the DECEPTICONS want to harm the humans under his protection, they'll have to go through him â and his plasma cannon â first. |

Product Description |
| The Hasbro Transformers Ultimate Bumblebee Figure is the premium movie-based Transformers toy on the market. Standing more than 14 inches tall, this action figure is more than deserving of the title "Ultimate." With his sleek design, his battle and conversation sounds, and his advanced animatronics system, Ultimate Bumblebee is one of the most fully featured action figures you'll ever find.
The Bumblebee fully featured action figure delivers animatronics and sounds. View larger. View Side. |
Bumblebee's car form is as detailed and well built as any model car. View larger. View Side. | Two Awesome Modes Recommended for ages five and up, Ultimate Bumblebee is perfect for toy collectors and kids alike. Initially, Ultimate Bumblebee appears as a sleek 2008 Camaro. With its vivid yellow finish and racing stripes, Ultimate Bumblebee's car form is as detailed and well built as any model car and would be a perfect addition to a cabinet or dresser top. The car is able to roll freely on carpet and hard surfaces alike. However, like all Transformers, there is more to Ultimate Bumblebee's Camaro form than meets the eye. When it is time for him to come out of disguise and confront his enemies, he can transform into a massive, powerful robot. Equipped with a plasma cannon, he is more than prepared to defend your local Autobot from Decepticon attacks. With a few minor adjustments, kids can transform Ultimate Bumblebee seamlessly between his robot and his vehicle mode. His robot mode stands an impressive 14 inches, and is fully articulated, meaning that kids can adjust him into any pose. He is also incredibly detailed -- likely one of the most attractive action figures your aspiring heros will ever get their hands on. Advanced Animatronics and Sounds Ultimate Bumblebee features an advanced animatronic design, which means he can move and animate himself when in robot mode. With the touch of a button, he'll burst into motion. His head moves expressively from side to side, and his arms and wings both move up and down. He can even aim his plasma cannon and fire off his missile. Perhaps most impressively, he has full sound detection capabilities. He will respond to noises by turning and making sounds of his own. In addition to his animatronics and motion, Ultimate Bumblebee can also make a variety of exciting sounds. This ever-vigilant Autobot has 17 different heroic conversation phrases, such as "Let's roll out!" and "Take that, Decepticon!" He also makes battle sounds -- kids will hear the firing of his plasma cannon and the whirring, crushing sound of his movements. He'll even boogie as he plays Devo's popular song, "Whip It." About Transformers The Transformers began as a Hasbro toy line back in 1983, featuring toy vehicles that could transform into robots. The toys soon inspired an entire universe of fictional story lines, pitting the two factions of Transformers -- the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons -- against one another.
